Founded in 1946 by a group of Delaware County Professionals, the Media Lions Club have dedicated themselves to helping the Visually Impaired & Deaf in Delaware County, PA
Leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of tomorrow, the Lions expanded their footprint into the community at large.

Looking towards the future-
After many years of prosperity & success, the Media Lions entered the 21st Century looking to make some changes.
In 2020, the Media Lions initiated their first Female Lion – a positive sign of change for the club!
In 2022, looking for the Leaders of Tomorrow, the Media Lions Club became the Chartered Organization for BSA Troop 404.
Working hand in Hand with the young men and women that constitute the club, the Media Lions mentor the Troop 404 Scouts in their duty to build character, train future citizens, foster personal fitness, and develop leadership skills in young people.

What exactly does a Lion do?
Lions tend to find a way to serve the community and then devote themselves to the cause. Do you like to help people improve their hearing or vision? Participate in collecting and sorting glasses and hearing aids! Do you like helping folks that may be food insecure, join us working a shift at the Media Foodbank! Does seeing trash along the local roadways really make you angry? Join us for an Adopt-a-Highway cleanup to beautify an area!
When we say that Media Lions Serve- we mean it!

The Media Lions are devoid of injecting politics, religion, or business into their service. We really are a group of people that like leaving the Earth better than they found it!
